Biography
Kerry McCoy, born in the vibrant musical landscape of the late 1970s, began his journey in music as a young guitarist influenced by the emerging grunge and alternative rock scenes. Growing up in a small town, he found solace in playing the guitar, often wandering through the local record shops to immerse himself in the sounds of the era. His passion led him to form his first band during high school, which laid the groundwork for his understanding of songwriting and performance dynamics. By the mid-1990s, McCoy had honed his craft and was ready to take on a larger stage, eventually joining the influential rock band 'Deftones', where he became a prominent figure in the post-hardcore and metal scene.
