Biography

Kee Marcello is the professional name of Kjell Hilding Lövbom, a Swedish guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist born on January 20, 1960, in Ludvika, Sweden. He began developing his musical identity during the late 1970s and early 1980s, drawing on hard rock, progressive rock, blues, and the emerging European metal scene. Marcello first gained broad attention as a member of the Swedish hard rock band Easy Action, whose albums Easy Action, released in 1983, and That Makes One, released in 1986, established his reputation as a technically accomplished and melodically focused guitarist. His playing combined polished phrasing with a forceful rock attack, qualities that would later make him a natural fit for one of Sweden’s most successful rock exports.
