Wagner Lamounier, born on April 30, 1970, is a prominent figure in the Brazilian heavy metal scene, especially known for his work as a musician and songwriter. Emerging from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Lamounier's passion for music was kindled at a young age, influenced by the burgeoning metal movement in the 1980s. He quickly gravitated towards the heavy sound of metal, which would shape his distinctive style and lead to his involvement in several influential bands that defined extreme music in Brazil. His career took off in 1984 when he joined Sepultura, one of the most iconic Brazilian metal bands.
