Biography
Tom Gimbel is an American rock multi-instrumentalist best known for his long association with Aerosmith. Born on November 1, 1965, he developed as a versatile performer able to move between saxophone, guitar, harmonica, keyboards, percussion, and backing vocals. His musicianship reflects the broad vocabulary of classic rock, rhythm and blues, blues-rock, and horn-driven pop. Before becoming widely known through Aerosmith, Gimbel gained professional experience in the Boston-area rock scene and built a reputation as a reliable touring and studio musician.
