Biography

Steve Marriott was born on January 30, 1947, in Hornsey, North London, England. He began his musical journey at a young age, influenced by the rock and roll music of the 1950s. In the early 1960s, Marriott found his calling and formed a band called The Moments, which eventually evolved into the celebrated group, Small Faces. This ensemble captured the essence of the mod culture in the UK and garnered considerable attention for their hit singles like 'All or Nothing' and 'Lazy Sunday.' Marriott’s powerful voice and charismatic stage presence quickly made him a standout performer, which led to his renowned career in the British rock scene.
