Myles Kennedy, born in 1969, is an American singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Alter Bridge. Growing up in a musical family in Spokane, Washington, he began playing guitar at a young age and later studied music at the University of Spokane. His early career saw him fronting a band called The Mayfield Four, which garnered local attention but did not achieve national success.
