Myles Kennedy, born in 1969, is an American singer-songwriter and musician, best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Alter Bridge. Growing up in a musical family in Spokane, Washington, he began playing guitar at a young age and later studied music at the University of Spokane. His early career saw him fronting a band called The Mayfield Four, which garnered local attention but did not achieve national success. Despite this, Kennedy's vocal talent and songwriting abilities began to shine, laying the foundation for his future accomplishments in the music industry. In 2004, Kennedy achieved significant recognition when he formed Alter Bridge with members of Creed, following their breakup.
