Biography
Mick Fleetwood, born in 1947, began his music career in the vibrant London scene of the 1960s. Initially influenced by blues and rock, he joined as the drummer for the band 'Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac' in 1967. Fleetwood's rhythm and energetic beats quickly made a significant impact, contributing to the band's early success with their eponymous album 'Fleetwood Mac' (1968) and the iconic 'Then Play On' (1969). His drive and dedication helped shape the sound of the group as they navigated the transition from a blues band to a rock phenomenon. Alongside his musical pursuits, he also took part in various side projects and collaborations that showcased his versatility and artistic growth during these formative years.
