Koshi Inaba, born on September 23, 1966, in Takamatsu, Kagawa, Japan, is a prominent Japanese rock singer, songwriter, and the lead vocalist of the legendary rock band B'z. Inaba showed an early interest in music, inspired by the rock bands of the 1970s and 1980s, and began honing his performance skills during his high school years. He soon formed his first band, leading him to embark on a journey that would eventually establish him as a major figure in the Japanese music scene. In 1988, he joined forces with guitarist Tak Matsumoto to form B'z, a collaboration that would redefine contemporary rock music in Japan. B'z quickly gained popularity, releasing their self-titled debut album in 1988. The band achieved commercial success with hit singles like "Love Phantom" and "Ultra Soul," and went on to sell over 100 million records, making them one of the best-selling music acts in Japan. Inaba's powerful vocals and charismatic stage presence have played a crucial role in the band's success.
