Biography
John Fogerty, born on May 28, 1945, in Berkeley, California, is a legendary American musician, songwriter, and guitarist, best known as the frontman for the iconic rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR). Growing up in a musical household, Fogerty developed an early love for rock and roll, blues, and country music, influences that would later shape his distinctive sound. After playing in various local bands during his teenage years, he formed the Golliwogs with his brother Tom and other friends, which laid the groundwork for CCR's formation in 1967. Fogerty's songwriting and guitar playing would soon emerge as the driving forces behind the band's raw, energetic style, resulting in a string of chart-topping hits like 'Bad Moon Rising' and 'Proud Mary'.
