Brian Setzer is an American guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist, best known for his influential role in the resurgence of rockabilly music and his work in the swing revival movement. Setzer was born on April 10, 1959, in Massapequa, New York. His musical journey began in his teenage years, influenced by early rock and roll artists like Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent, and Chuck Berry. He honed his guitar skills while playing in various bands before ultimately founding the legendary Stray Cats in the late 1970s.
