Andy Summers, born on December 31, 1942, in Poulton-le-Fylde, England, began his musical journey at a young age. He developed an early interest in jazz music, which influenced his unique approach to the guitar. Summers moved to London in the 1960s, where he played in various bands, including the popular group Zoot Money's Big Roll Band. His big break came when he joined the seminal rock band The Police in 1977, which marked the beginning of a storied career in the music industry.
