Biography

Zack Merrick, born in 1988 in the vibrant city of Baltimore, Maryland, is a renowned bassist and a critical component of the pop-punk band All Time Low. His passion for music ignited at a young age, where he was influenced by various genres that spanned from punk rock to alternative music. Growing up, Zack developed a fascination for the bass guitar, initially picking it up in middle school. This early start led him to collaborate with various local bands throughout his teenage years, honing his skills and gaining invaluable experience on stage. In 2003, he co-founded All Time Low with friends Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, and Rian Dawson, which would ultimately define his career and lay the groundwork for their future successes.
