Wayne Static, born on November 4, 1965, was an influential American musician best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the industrial metal band Static-X. Growing up in Muskegon, Michigan, Wayne developed an interest in music at a young age. He was introduced to the world of rock and metal through artists such as Black Sabbath and Alice Cooper, which inspired him to pick up the guitar in his teens. His early career was marked by a series of bands that would eventually culminate in the formation of Static-X, which he founded with fellow musicians in 1994. Wayne's distinctive vocal style and energetic performances quickly garnered attention in the burgeoning nu-metal scene of the late 1990s, setting the stage for his future success. Static-X's debut album, "Wisconsin Death Trip," released in 1999, was a commercial success and included hits like "Push It" and "I'm with Stupid."
