In 2016, he also became a member of Abhorrence, a band that creates noise within the death metal and grindcore subgenres. Further diversifying his musical endeavors, Väyrynen was part of Bodom After Midnight for a brief period from 2020 to 2021 and has been involved with I Am the Night since 2020, alongside his work with Strigoi whose status remains undefined.
