Tony Banks, born on March 27, 1950, is a renowned English keyboardist and songwriter, primarily recognized as a founding member of the progressive rock band Genesis. Hailing from East Hoathly, Sussex, Banks showcased his musical talents from an early age, becoming proficient on the piano and other keyboard instruments. His early career began with the band Garden Wall, which he co-founded during his school years from 1965 to 1967.
