Tommy DeVito, born on June 19, 1928, in Belleville, New Jersey, is widely recognized as one of the founding members of the iconic vocal group, The Four Seasons. His early career began in the 1950s, where he honed his craft in the vibrant music scene of New Jersey. Raised in a musical family, DeVito was inspired by the harmonious sounds of doo-wop and rock 'n' roll, which ultimately shaped his distinctive musical style and passion for performance. With his innate guitar skills and charismatic stage presence, he quickly made a name for himself in local bands before joining The Four Lovers, a precursor to The Four Seasons, where he started to develop a sound that would set the foundation for the group's future success.
