Susanna Hoffs, born on January 17, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, is an influential singer-songwriter and guitarist. She grew up in a musical family and showed an early affinity for music, teaching herself to play the guitar while in high school. After attending college, she formed a band called The Bangs with friends, which later evolved into The Bangles. The Bangles broke into the music scene in the 1980s, quickly becoming known for their catchy melodies and harmonies. Hoffs' distinctive voice and charming stage presence contributed significantly to the band's success. Their debut album 'All Over the Place' was released in 1984, featuring hits like 'Hero Takes a Fall.'
