Speech, born as Todd Thomas on April 4, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, is a prominent figure in the world of hip-hop and music innovation. He initially gained recognition in the late 1980s as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the influential hip-hop group Arrested Development.
