Sonny John Moore, known to the world as Skrillex, is an American electronic music producer, DJ, and singer-songwriter, born on January 15, 1988, in Los Angeles, California. Moore emerged in the mid-2000s as the lead vocalist for the post-hardcore band From First to Last, showcasing his impressive vocal range and unique style. The band released their debut album, 'Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count' in 2004, which gained them a cult following. After facing personal struggles and a desire to explore music beyond the limitations of a band, Moore left the group in 2007 to pursue a solo career, setting the stage for his eventual transformation into Skrillex.
