Biography

Scott Asheton was born in 1949 in Washington, D.C., and rose to prominence as the drummer for the influential proto-punk band The Stooges in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Growing up in a creative environment, Scott's musical journey began in his teenage years, where his passion for rock and roll music was ignited. He quickly developed his drumming skills, showcasing a powerful yet unconventional style that would define much of The Stooges' sound.
