Pete Kember, also known as Sonic Boom, is a British musician, producer, and composer born on September 19, 1965. He initially gained prominence in the late 1980s as a founding member of the influential band Spacemen 3. Kember's early career saw him experimenting with the sounds of psychocandy and the burgeoning shoegaze movement, where he developed a distinctive style that combined drone and reverb-heavy music with minimalist lyrics.
