Biography
Oliver Chapoy is a prominent figure in the post-rock and experimental music scenes, known for his diverse musicianship and compelling soundscapes. He began his musical journey in the mid-1990s, carving out a niche for himself as a versatile musician who seamlessly blends various musical styles. His early musical endeavors began with Shai Hulud, where he contributed his skills from 1995 to 1999, helping to shape the band's unique sound that fuses metalcore and rock aesthetics. This formative experience set the stage for a comprehensive career that would lead him through a myriad of interesting projects. Following Shai Hulud, Chapoy joined The Rocking Horse Winner from 2000 to 2001, showcasing his commitment to exploring different musical directions.
