Miljenko Matijevic, born in 1966, is a Croatian-American musician best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the hard rock band Steelheart. Matijevic's early career began in the late 1980s when he showcased his remarkable vocal range and charisma. After moving to the United States, he formed Steelheart in 1990, and the band gained significant attention with their self-titled debut album, which was released in 1990. The hit single 'I'll Never Let You Go' showcased Matijevic's soaring vocals and helped the band secure a dedicated fanbase. During this period, he also honed his songwriting skills, contributing to Steelheart's distinct sound that incorporated elements of glam metal and hard rock.
