Biography
Matty Benassi, born in 1982, emerged from the vibrant music scene of Los Angeles, where his passion for music was ignited at a young age. Growing up in a family of musicians, Benassi was frequently surrounded by instruments and tunes, which inspired him to pick up the guitar at the age of 12. His early career, marked by local gigs and collaborations, set the foundation for a promising future in the music industry. By 2000, he began to gain recognition playing in various underground bands, establishing his unique sound that blended rock, punk, and alternative influences. His first big break came when he joined the band *The Sundowns*, which released their debut album in 2003, showcasing Benassi's knack for catchy melodies and compelling riffs.
