Biography

Born on April 26, 1959, John Corabi is an accomplished American musician, singer, and songwriter known for his powerful vocals and dynamic guitar playing. Originating from a musical family in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Corabi's early exposure to classic rock and heavy metal paved the way for his burgeoning career. He began his journey in music at a young age, tapping into the sounds of iconic bands of the 70s, which would significantly influence his own style. As he matured, Corabi honed his skills and began performing with various local bands before gaining a foothold in the national music scene. Corabi's career took a prominent turn when he joined the rock band The Scream in 1989. The band's self-titled debut album showcased their hard rock sound and positioned them as a contender in the burgeoning grunge movement. Following The Scream's disbandment, Corabi joined Mötley Crüe in 1992, replacing Vince Neil and contributing to the band's self-titled album, often referred to as "The Mötley Crüe Album," which revealed a heavier sound. His tenure with Mötley Crüe lasted until 1996. Afterward, he formed Union, which released two albums, followed by stints with Ratt and a project known as Cardboard Vampyres. Currently, he is a member of Lost Angels and The Dead Daisies, continuously evolving his sound and connecting with fans. Musically, Corabi is known for blending hard rock and alternative elements, showcasing a unique versatility that allows him to cross genres.
