Biography
Joe Lally is an influential American bassist, best known for his work with the post-hardcore band Fugazi. Born in 1963 in the vibrant city of Washington, D.C., Lally developed an early interest in music, influenced by the punk rock scene that was burgeoning around him. He started playing bass as a teenager, quickly realizing that this instrument was his calling. His passion for music led him to form Fugazi in 1987 with fellow musicians Ian MacKaye and Guy Picciotto, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey in the underground music scene.
