Biography
Joan Osborne was born on July 8, 1963, in Anchorage, Alaska, and raised in the vibrant city of New York. From an early age, Joan was steeped in the arts, drawing inspiration from a myriad of musical genres that would shape her unique sound. She pursued her passion for music at the University of Colorado before moving back to New York, where she began performing in local clubs and honing her craft as a singer-songwriter. Joan's early career was marked by her distinctive voice and profound lyrics, quickly earning her a dedicated following. Her breakthrough came in the mid-1990s with the release of her debut album, ‘Relish’, which showcased hits such as ‘One of Us’ and ‘Stolen Car’, propelling her to stardom.
