Born on March 4, 1974, ICS Vortex, whose real name is Simen Hestnæs, hails from the picturesque city of Bergen, Norway. He is well-known for his unique and captivating voice, as well as his genre-defining contributions to the black metal and progressive metal scenes. With roots steeped in musical heritage, ICS Vortex began his journey in the early '90s, lending his talents to various bands and steadily building a reputation as a versatile musician.
