Glenn Kotche is an acclaimed American drummer and composer, best known for his work with the influential rock band Wilco. Born on April 30, 1972, in Elmhurst, Illinois, Kotche showed an early interest in music, playing drums from the age of 10. After honing his skills throughout his childhood, he pursued a degree in music education from the University of Kentucky and further developed his craft at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In 1994, Kotche joined the alternative rock band Wilco, contributing to their evolution as a band known for their experimental stylings and rich sonic landscapes.
