Biography
Eddie Roberts, born in the vibrant city of Manchester in 1980, showed an early affinity for music that led him to pick up the guitar at a young age. Influenced by a mix of funk, jazz, and rock, Roberts honed his skills in local bands throughout his teenage years. After finishing school, he moved to the United States, where he immersed himself in the emerging music scene. His passion and dedication paid off when he formed The New Mastersounds in 1999, a band that would define his career and contribute significantly to the funk and soul revival of the early 2000s. Their energetic live performances and tight grooves quickly garnered a loyal fan base, allowing them to tour across Europe and North America.
