Darryl McDaniels, born on May 31, 1964, in Harlem, New York, is a legendary figure in the world of hip-hop, best known as one of the founding members of the iconic group Run-D.M.C. McDaniels discovered his passion for music at an early age while being influenced by the burgeoning hip-hop scene in the late 1970s. His childhood love for comic books and storytelling combined with the rhythmic beats of rap laid the foundation for his unique style and lyrical themes that often bridged fantasy and reality.
