Cosey Fanni Tutti, born Christine Carol Burchell on November 2, 1951, in London, is an influential avant-garde musician, performance artist, and conceptual artist known for her pioneering contributions to electronic music and the art world. Cosey began her career in the early 1970s, joining the legendary industrial band COUM Transmissions, which she co-founded with Genesis P-Orridge. This group garnered attention for its provocative performances that challenged societal norms, exploring sexuality and art.
