Biography

Angus Young, born in Glasgow, Scotland, on March 31, 1955, is best known as the lead guitarist and co-founder of the iconic rock band AC/DC. Young's passion for music blossomed at an early age, greatly influenced by his family's musical background. He emigrated to Australia with his family in 1963, where his electric guitar skills began to develop further. By his teenage years, he had already formed his first band, The Strollers, before moving on to create AC/DC in 1973 with his older brother Malcolm Young. The band's electrifying performances and high-energy music quickly captured the attention of rock fans around the world. Throughout his illustrious career with AC/DC, Angus Young solidified his place in rock history with a string of groundbreaking albums and hits.
