Biography
Alison Goldfrapp is an English singer-songwriter known for her distinctive blend of electronic and pop music, which has captivated audiences since the early 2000s. Born on June 13, 1966, in Bath, England, she studied at the University of Brighton and later at Middlesex University where she specialized in Fine Art and Film, which influenced her artistic vision throughout her career. Her early involvement in music began with collaborations and working as a session vocalist; however, it was her partnership with Will Gregory that marked the beginning of something special. Together, they formed the duo Goldfrapp in 1999, releasing their debut album 'Felt Mountain' in 2000 to critical acclaim, establishing their place in the music scene with its ethereal soundscapes and lush arrangements.
