Biography

Born on November 4, 1964, in the vibrant city of Stuttgart, Germany, Alex Beyrodt has carved a significant niche for himself in the heavy metal scene. His early interest in music was ignited by the burgeoning rock genres of the late 1970s and early 1980s. With a passion for the guitar that developed during his teenage years, Beyrodt began playing in local bands, honing his skills in both live performances and studio recordings. It was during this time that he established the foundation that would lead him to a successful career in rock and metal music. Beyrodt's professional career took off in the early 1990s when he joined the well-known German heavy metal band Sinner. From 1991 to 2000, he contributed his guitar prowess to the band's sound, helping to produce multiple albums that would define the group's style. After Sinner, he became a pivotal member of Silent Force in 1999, where he has continued to influence the band's direction to this day. In 2008, he joined Voodoo Circle, further expanding his artistic portfolio with a group that blends classic rock with modern influences. Following a reunion, he returned to Sinner from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, his tenure with Primal Fear, a hallmark of modern power metal, from 2011 to 2024 has solidified his reputation in the genre, and he was a member of Jorn from 2017 to 2021.
